Pooh Talk

Here is a short video for your enjoyment.

For some reason that makes Logan laugh so hard. It works wonders when I need him to smile for a picture.

Who Doesn’t Love Winne the Pooh?

Naptime is the best time to blog – kids are asleep, the house is quiet, I’m relaxed. So today I’m going to post something I’ve wanted to do for a while but kept forgetting about – one of Logan’s favorite things – Winnie the Pooh.
Logan has always loved Pooh and his friends and still does. I’ll prove it to you. Check out the following pictures.

Pooh is all over our house:

At the head of Logan’s bed,

in books,

CD’s,

and Logan’s baby book.

He’s made it to the kitchen too:

In Logan’s sipper cup,

and his plate.

He’s invaded Lila’s clothes,

my computer screen,

Logan’s backpack,

his bottle,

and the toy shelf.

He’s such an adorable guy, despite having “very little brain”, that I don’t mind him being around. His presence makes Logan happy, and helps in difficult situations, like mealtime. All I have to do to get Logan to eat is to ask him who he is taking the bite for (Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, etc.) and he will point to the one on the plate and take his bite. He will watch any Winnie the Pooh show over and over, to the point that now I’m trying to get him to watch other things for variety sake, but I always have Pooh to fall back on when nothing else will do.
Now, daddy is of the opinion that Pooh is for wimps, and that boys should have heros like transformers, X-men, Spiderman, etc. But at least he sees that Logan is still small enough to like Pooh, and cuddle cuddly toys, and enjoy such childish delights. All too soon he will grow up and who knows what he will be into as a teen? I say let him enjoy Winnie the Pooh now while he is young. He can switch to super heros when he is older.
